| PROGRAMMING LEGEND |
|
[ CODE ] = The programming code included with your DD2. Lost programming codes require a factory reset. (Contact Technical Support)
[ RECEIVER NUMBER ] = New receiver number EXACTLY as it is to be dialed.
|
| RECEIVED ACCOUNT NUMBER LEGEND |
|
If account number reported is 0000: Your alarm panel is dialing into the receiver, but cannot communicate. This is due either to use of a low bandwidth VoIP line, noise on the line or if a DSL line, failure to install a filter. (Contact Technical Support)
If account number reported is FFFF: Your alarm panel has no account number programmed in it. While you can use FFFF as your account number, it is not recommended.
If account number reported is DIFFERENT EACH TIME: Your alarm panel is dialing into the receiver, but cannot communicate properly. This is due either to use of a low bandwidth VoIP line, noise on the line or if a DSL line, failure to install a filter. (Contact Technical Support)

|
Tech Notes:
{Tech Note #1}: If the panel was hardwired and no RJ31X jack is present, you will need to either install a RJ31X or a RJ11 block to proceed. If using a RJ11 block, use the white RJ11 cord instead of the RJ45 cord on the DD2.
{Tech Note #2}:If the alarm signal was not received, remove the RJ45 cord presently plugged into the RJ block and install the RJ11 white cord in its place, and then re-test your alarm system for a signal.
If the alarm signal was still not received, verify the presence of a dial tone at the block and re-wire to remove line seizure.
